PPILOW poster by Helen Pluschke awarded prize!

Helen Pluschke received the prize for pioneering research for her PPILOW-Poster on dual-purpose poultry presented at the 17^th Scientific Conference on Organic Farming in Giessen, Germany. The poster presented the concept of NPGs within the PPILOW project and the results of on-farm trials of fattening males of a novel dual-purpose genotype conducted in Germany and France. The results presented were a collaboration between ITAB and Thuenen Institute. The Scientific Conference on Organic Farming (WITA) is the leading German conference on organic farming research and was held at the Justus Liebig University of Giessen from 5-8 March.
