2.1.1 – Creation of the poultry NPGs

For both poultry and pig the creation of NPGs (National Practitioner groups) was assigned to the NPG facilitators who identified the key actors to involve and established the NPG.

5 poultry NPG were created involving the following countries:

  • Belgium and the Netherlands (focusing mainly on layers)
  • Denmark (focusing on layers and broilers in dual purpose genotypes)
  • France (on layers and broilers)
  • Germany (focusing on layers and broilers in dual purpose genotypes)
  • Italy (focusing mainly on broilers)
