PPILOW’s People: Anna Zuliani!
I’m Anna Zuliani and I was born in 1985 in Udine-Italy. I graduated in Veterinary Medicine at the University of Parma (Italy) in 2009. After a research-based Master of Science at the University of Calgary (Canada) I joined the Department of Agricultural, Food, Environmental and Animal Science at the University of Udine for my PhD entitled “Animal welfare in mountain dairy farms: an approach from farm to fork”. I collaborated with the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), Veterinarians without borders (VSF-Italy) and regional farmers’ association (AAFVG) on animal health and welfare projects. I am currently working as a veterinary officer at the local health unit (Azienda Sanitaria Universitaria Friuli Centrale). For the PPILOW project, I’m the Slow Food consultant: I worked with the global movement in the development of projects related to the livestock supply chain and the Slow Meat campaign.
