PPILOW’s People: Claire Bonnefous!

After completing my agronomic engineering degree, I worked for INRAE on the PPILOW project on the WP1 during one year and I am now starting my PhD on the WP6.1 for INRAE. This task aims to improve exploratory behaviour of broilers thanks to the identification and selection of genotype. The main objective of my PhD thesis is to assess whether the variability, including genetic variability, of exploratory behaviour in organic broiler production systems is associated with different physiological, metabolic and health signatures at the animal level. As WP6.1 experiments are in both France and Italy (UNIPG), we are evaluating the possibilities for common analysis between our two countries
